Mission
The Mission of HSA is to encourage parents and guardians to immerse
themselves in school activities and functions by generously giving of
their time, talents and treasures. As servant leaders, we embrace the
ideals of participation, volunteerism, support, and unification of
school and church.
Purpose
Often new school families are not sure how or where to volunteer at the
school. One does not have to look any further than the Home &
School Association! The Home & School Association membership is
comprised of all of the school’s parents/guardians; teachers, clergy
and administrators. Involvement in H.S.A. sponsored activities is not
only fun, but one of the best ways to get to know other families in the
school, and also model the importance of volunteering to your children.
H.S.A. has two mandatory meetings each school year, August and
mid-January when all school families are required to attend.
Additionally, the Association meets monthly during the school year to
plan events, community activities and fundraisers. Families are
encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible.
The H.S.A. representatives are elected every two years from a slate of
interested parents/guardians. Please note that EVERYONE is encouraged
and invited to participate. So please come and find a few activities
that interest you and join in on the fun!
